Trout amp Picnic Creel Basket
Traditionally used by anglers, the idea is the basket is lined with moss and wetted in the river, and as fish are caught they are posted through the little slot in the top. But the size and style of this basket also makes it a funky and sizeable picnic basket that is easier to carry than most. It would also look fantastic lashed to the luggage rack of a bicycle, particularly if a traditional wicker basket is being used on the front, the bulbous size of this basket would hold a cycle helmet and it has a secured lid for keeping things in place if riding over bumps.
The basket has a flat back that is 40cm wide, and a rounded front that is 28cm deep, the height is also 28cm, please note these measurements are approximate as this is a handmade natural product. There is a removable and adjustable webbing shoulder strap for carrying, which could also be used to help secure to a bike rack by threading through the luggage rack!
This would make a great fishing gift item, for a cyclist, or to be used by picnickers.
