Before first use only, invert the bottle and pump the base until the first drop appears. The system is now ready for use. Repeat this process several times until the first drop is released. The bottle is now ready for use.. General Use:. To use HYLO-FORTE eye drops, remove the over-cap and hold the bottle with its tip down using one hand, while supporting your hand with the other (refer to the Patient Information Leaflet for further guidance).. Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid, then press the base of the bottle to release one drop into the conjunctival sac. Repeat for the other eye, then close your eye slowly to evenly spread the fluid over the surface.. The COMOD valve system guarantees consistent drop size and speed, regardless of pressure on the bottle base. While using, make sure the bottle tip does not touch your eye or skin. Once finished, make sure the tip is dry before replacing the over-cap (refer to the Patient Information Leaflet).. HYLO-FORTE should be used according to the instructions given by your doctor or your eye specialist. Normally one drop of HYLO-FORTE® three times a day can be instilled into each eye.
