Desenex Athletes Foot Ointment (30g). Desenex is recommended in the prophylaxis and treatment of mycotic superficial dermatophytoses of feet, axillae, groin and the relief of itching and scaling produced by these fungal infections.. For topical administration only. General directions: Apply a smooth even coating of ointment to affected areas as required or use as directed by the physician.. Feet: Twice daily, wash and dry the infected area, apply 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) ribbon of ointment and rub gently between toes and on feet. Spread evenly.. Continue treatment for two weeks after symptoms disappear. To prevent reinfection, use Desenex Powder daily.
