The innovative design of the Torpedo model offers significant advantages over other flat floats. The Torpedo overcomes problems often associated with this style of fishing – it does not ‘ride up’ in the water or vibrate in turbulent or windy conditions; the pressure of flowing water holds the body down in line with the flow, ensuring a very stable and sensitive presentation even with baits off the bottom and the rig allowed to run slowly at the fish -- an impossibility with standard ‘lollipop’ floats. In sizes between 0.5gm and 5gm, Torpedo floats are supplied with two interchangeable bristles.
